5 Non-Holiday Times of Year You Should Be Giving Gifts

For the important people in your life, giving a gift for birthdays or major holidays just doesn’t seem like enough. Your best friends and family has been your number one supporters, love you unconditionally and are always there for you, and sometimes, you’re looking for a good excuse to remind them just how special they are to you. Here we have for you 3 non-holiday times of the year when you should be giving gifts.

 1. The “Thank You” Gift

As a parent, gifting is a way of educating your children, and as a child, it’s a way to show appreciation and love.

As  you grow older, you take the lessons you learned about gift giving from your parents and use gifts to show your gratitude, appreciation and love for the special people in your life. Thank you gifts can be for something small, like thank you for watering my plants, or for something big, like thank you for taking care of me when I was sick.

Giving a “Thank You” gift represents what parents teach children about showing appreciation. So remember, to always tell someone thank you.

2. Friend Going Through a Hard Time

We have all been through the difficult seasons of life. Sometimes your job is tough, sometimes the shortened, cold days of winter bring sadness and low energy. Sometimes, things are harder, you’ve lost a job or maybe even a loved one. We have all been through times like this, so we know how important it is to have friends there with you when you’re feeling down.

For someone who might be feeling alone, or struggling through a difficult season, a gift can mean so much more than on a birthday or holiday. These pick-me-ups are so important to show your loved ones that you are there for them, no matter what.

3. Long-distance Relationship Gift

Sometimes, you aren’t able to be physically with those you love. Yes, maybe you’ll go home a couple of times a year to see your family or catch up with old friends, but the rest of the time, physical distance separates you from those that you love. If you can’t be there, it’s nice to be able to surprise a loved one with a gift to let them know that you’re always thinking of them. It can be a gift to remind them of a happy moment when you were together, or a gift that you know will just bring a smile to their face.

4. A Milestone

Life is full of milestones. Some are obvious, such as birthdays, some are significant, such as getting married, but some may be just as important, while still understood. A job promotion, a new pet, a big sale, a new place. These are all moments that you celebrate with your close friends and family.

Why not make these moments everlasting with a gift?

5. Just-Thinking-Of-You

Letting your closest loved ones know that you are thinking of them is always special and important. These gifts might seem to come out of the blue, but that’s what makes them so meaningful. They aren’t expected, but they are always appreciated. A just-thinking-of-you gift doesn’t have to be big or expensive, but something to remember a loved one that they are special to you, even when apart. These gifts never fail to make a loved one feel extra special.

At Acecrafty, we know that there are more times to give gifts than just birthdays and Christmas. We realize the impact that a gift can have on a loved one any time of year. That’s why we create special, personalized products you can give as a thank you, to remind a friend you care, or to let distant family know you are thinking of them.

Don’t wait for a birthday to tell a loved one how much they mean to you.
